When I made this sketch I didn't make the objects big enough to cover over each other.
When I started this project I thought it was going to be easy because with George Braque he just uses shapes and bold colors and colleges to make his painting. The shapes are very distinct because he uses very bold black lines. I learned that when painting and you want to do shading you have to work quickly so that the paint doesn't dry up because then you can mix the paint. This art work is intended to represent mickey and Mickey mouse. I did the Mickey eyes and face. I did Minnie’s bow that she is always wearing. I did the buttons for mickey and the pink dots for Minnie because she had dots on her dress. When I started this project I was kind of scared about the shading because it’s easy to shade with pencil or even colored pencils but with paint it seemed like it was going to be much harder because you have to mix different colors together. Once I started to it, it wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. I was very happy with the way it ended up and I’m proud of how well it shows off Disney and you can tell what it is.
