We did three different kinds of medians for this project. We did chalk, colored pencils, and oil pastels. We drew different kinds of candy; for the chalk we did a peppermint. This one was my least favorite because it wasn’t easy to shade with the chalk. It was also difficult to keep the white apart from the red that is why I did a green one. I did light green for white part and then a dark green where the red. It was hard to do highlights with the white to show the wrapper because the colors didn’t want to go over each other easily. We did a Dum-Dum lollipop for the colored pencils and it was much easier. It was easier to do the shading and make it look realistic. I liked the fact that I could blend the colors together and make it look like it made to be like that unlike with the chalk. My favorite one to work with was the oil pastels making the jolly rancher. With the oil pastels I liked how well you could blend the colors together. It looked like the real object you were trying to make. You could do an outline with the colors and then come back and put a lot of detail into it.
